God is just so GOOD! I just can't even explain how good he has been to us!
You know it is so weird because we have been scraping by like we have never done before. Everytime something looks like it is going to come together to bring in some money something else comes up and it doesn't happen.
We still have not sold the cars, the real estate company that we signed up with is not following through the way we understood that it was going to happen. The restaurant has not hired Misa yet. We have both applied for many jobs and nothing!!
We ran out of gas for the stove and don't have money to get more! Yesterday, we all had a prayer session and then right after that a guy showed up at the door and asked Misa to go work with him for the afternoon. Misa made $260 pesos but to buy gas would take up too much of the money so we are being VERY creative in finding food that doesn't have to be cooked (over here you really want to cook everything to kill bacteria).
The weird part about all of this is we are so content....don't get me wrong our tummies hurt sometimes and I have lost a lot of weight (which is a good thing). But we just know that this is where God wants us and it feels right. God continues to feed us and supply our basic needs each day.
What we have learned (and still are learning) is that we really don't need to worry about tomorrow, what we will eat or wear. EVERYTHING that we have right at this moment is ALL that we need according to God. Anything else that we "think" we need either isn't really a need and just a want (coveting) or we are not truly seeking the Kingdom of God and therefore all those things are not being given to us.
So back to fully seeking the Kingdom of God and we will not worry about the other things! We are going to go minister to the people that God has put in our path today. We will be cleaning a home for someone who is battling a bunch of health issues (cancer and stuff). This lady works so hard in their sewing business and all of her adult kids drop of their children everyday for her to watch and feed. Everyone takes advantage of her but there she is everyday joyfully taking on everything in her path. She is also the sole caregiver for her 98 year old grandmother!
